If you have walked along the South Bank recently, you may have notice building works going on at the Tate Modern. The huge 11 floor extension is opening this month, allowing for 60% more gallery space for you to peruse. It cost hundreds of millions to build, and promises a greater variety of modern art from across the world.

LIFTLondon International Festival of Theatre takes place throughout the whole of June. The event culminates on the 1st July with the Children’s Choice Award. It’s perfect if you want to see some really interesting theatre from across the world. Not all of it’s child friendly, but it’s all interesting.
