With 5,000 years of art, fashion, furniture, and architecture, it offers free entry, fun family trails, dressing-up zones, and inspiring exhibitions (Madonna, Bowie, Kylie, Vogue, Naomi Campbell) for all ages.
Is there an entry fee?
No, but special exhibitions do cost extra so check. They also sell out quickly so book!
Are there family activities?
Daily! Especially buzzing during school holidays.
Is it good for younger kids and teenagers?
The sweet spot the family activities is 5–12, but younger ones can join in too. As for teenagers, there’s always a great exhibition and if they’re fashion conscious or arty they’ll be in heaven.

Is there a Café?
Yes, it’s stunning and claims to be the world’s oldest museum restaurant. They do kids’ lunch boxes, snacks and cake (very important). Plus there’s the Garden Café. No clues to where it is.

You can and you may eat it in the lovely courtyard.
