Sorry the kids won’t ‘Let it Go’

Published: 17th December 2014

Jennifer Lee, the director of Frozen, the biggest grossing animated film of all time, says she apologises to parents who have had to listen to the Frozen soundtrack, and their kids singing the songs on repeat for the past year.

‘Let it Go’ sang by Idina Menzel who voiced Queen Anna, has been watched on YouTube 400 million times and won an Oscar. Anywhere you go, kids and grown ups alike are still singing the song, even though Frozen came out in cinemas over a year ago. You might have even spotted our very own Emily Sharp tunefully singing along in #KidRatedLoves Musicals.

This Christmas has also seen a rerelease of the film. Many screenings have been sing a long versions, including one at the Royal Albert Hall in November. Frozen has already become a Christmas classic.

Frozen has really taken the world by storm, but parents look on the bright side, with so much Frozen merchandise on the shelves buying Christmas presents this year has been easy.

Watch (and sing along to) ‘Let It Go’ here.
