Frighteningly talented and brilliantly creative, Kate Herron (@iamkateherron) is a director, writer, and producer with a wickedly sharp eye for storytelling. She first gained recognition with darkly hilarious short films (check out Open House) before making waves in TV with Sex Education and the critically acclaimed Loki.
Since co-writing the Doctor who episode Rogue starring Ncuti Gatwa, she’s now bringing her vision to The Sims movie adaptation and is also set to direct season 2 of The Last of Us.
But being a total legend she still found time to chat to share her Best Days Out with us….Enjoy!
Hands down the Natural History Museum.
For boardgame families “Orcs nest” but also a great place for kids is “Ministry of Stories” which encourages kids to become storytellers.
I recently went to Arabica in Borough Market and loved it.
Walk through Greenwich Park, breakfast in the market, afternoon nerding out about space at the Royal Observatory.
If you are planning on wandering through Greenwich, why not check out our Day Out Itinerary of Greenwich for Kids or our guide to Greenwich Market?
I love Greenwich but I am also a sucker for the lake at Hyde Park.
You can walk everywhere pretty quickly and don’t always need to catch the underground!
