David Quantick, is an award-winning comedy writer, music journalist, broadcaster and author – with an Emmy on his shelf for his work on Veep.

As a kid Madame Tussauds, because my dad would make me go and talk to people who always turned out to be waxworks. I always fell for it and I still think it’s hilarious.
Devon, where I grew up. There’s the sea, the countryside, lots of cream, several cows, and Dartmoor, which is like if the Moon was cool.
Our family are very young so it’s the park cafe in Hastings, Eat @ The Park. The food is great, they do decent kids’ meals and you can wind up the dog by leaving him outside.
Food, walking, a nap, and then somewhere like a museum with space rockets. My wife Jenna likes nature so maybe we could see some animals.
So long as we went home on a miniature railway.

The Park – Alexandra Park, Hastings.
The Beach – Hastings has miles of crunchy beaches.
The Aquarium – secrets of the deep!
The sofa.
Car or foot. Buggies don’t seem to like London very much.
Walk as much as you can. It’s cheaper and you’re still faster than a car.
