In a dramatic turn around, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the makers of Frozen, have confirmed that a Frozen sequel is in the works. This news comes just days after Lee suggested that a sequel was not on the cards as she described just making the new Frozen short, Frozen Fever, as incredibly hard and the thought of creating a new storyline for Frozen 2 almost impossible.
The sequel has not yet been given a release date, but kids everywhere can be relieved that they will have another dose of Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the rest of the gang.
It is unsurprising that a sequel is in the works considering that the Frozen won two Oscars and is the biggest grossing animated movie ever.

In other Frozen news, a single from the short, Frozen Fever has been released today. It is called Making Today a Perfect Day. It’s just as catchy as the songs from the original movie, which bodes well for the sequel as it suggests that Buck and Lee still have the winning formula.
Frozen Fever will be shown in cinemas before the new Cinderella movie. The story centres around Queen Elsa catching a cold.
