The finishing touch to LEGOLAND’s LEGO® Christmas tree has been created. An amazing star built with yellow bricks.
The star which was made by Legoland model maker, Katrina James (what a cool job!) is made of 2790 individual bricks and weighed 3kg. It took James 6 days to create.
The star was added to the top of the tree with meticulous precision. The team used a cherry picker to get to the top of the 8 metre tree and place the star on top. The tree itself is made up of more than 300,000 bricks and took 4 whole weeks for a team of experts to build it.
