Spanning over 35 acres of woodland and ornamental gardens, The Savill Garden is filled with life no matter which season you visit. The gardens are part of Windsor Great Park, and were created by Sir Eric Savill in the 1930s.
Plants from all over the world feature in The Savill Garden’s exotic variety of areas, from The Azalea Walks to The New Zealand Garden. In summer the garden is especially full of colour – the perfect place to escape from the city bustle and take a peaceful stroll on a summery day. To keep kids entertained, there is a play area just outside the garden with fun equipment from a sandpit to a shipwreck! And if you need re-energising after your outdoor adventures, recover with a cake or lunch at the Savill Building, which provides a beautiful view over the gardens from its large outdoor terrace.
