Camden Market is the place in London for alternative fashion, antiques, crafts, and food from around the globe. It’s also a famous place for bands to make their mark on the music scene and the former home of the late Amy Winehouse. From vintage clothing and furniture in the Stables Market to accessories and trinkets in the Camden Lock Village, there’s something for everyone and well worth exploring.
There’s a lot to see, and you’ll walk a long way to take it all in, so if your legs start to get a bit weary, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, food stalls and pubs in the area for you to sit down and relax. The international cuisine means even the pickiest eater will find something they like. Alternatively take a breather from shopping and take a trip on a canal boat.
KidRated’s Top Tip: If you’re coming with small children, avoid the crowds on Saturday and Sunday.
Camden Market is a great day out for teens. Vintage clothes shopping, great food and it’s always worth a visit into Cyberdog. Arriving by canal boat is fun too.
