Not everyone likes sprouts – for many, they’re the worst thing about Christmas – but Boris isn’t one of them.

Rather than throwing them away and letting them go to waste, the staff at London SEA LIFE have made a Christmas plea for people to donate their surplus sprouts to the centre’s hungry Turtles to enjoy.
Yesterday, lucky Boris received his favourite festive meal of the year, a tiered platter of sprouts served by a besuited under-waiter Garçon.“Unlike Boris, we know that for most people sprouts are the worst part of Christmas dinner, so rather than waste them we urge people to bring them in and put them in our specially marked ‘Sprout Amnesty’ box – Boris and Phoenix will make sure they don’t go to waste!”, commented Jamie Oliver, SEA LIFE London Aquarium Curator.
The festive feast marked the beginning of the Christmas season at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, which starts today and finishes on 28th December. Guests can meet the cuddly Penguin Father Fishmas character in his icy home with the resident colony of Gentoo penguins, plus listen to educational talks and penguin facts.
